Who is responsible

The controller of the personal data processed through this website is Ideas in the Cloud Software Inc (DeductAI), Boston, Massachusetts, United States, with offices in Boston, Madrid and San José (Costa Rica). We process the personal data of people in the European Union in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). What data we process, why, and on what basis

Emails you send us. If you write to hola@deductai.com, we process the data you include in your message (typically your name, email address, company and the content of your message) to reply to you and, where relevant, to manage the business relationship that follows. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us. We keep this correspondence while the conversation or the business relationship is active and, afterwards, for as long as is necessary to meet legal obligations or deal with possible claims.

Technical data when you visit the website. The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and request timestamps in order to serve the pages securely and protect the site from abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security and availability of the website. We do not use this data to identify visitors, and we do not run analytics on this website.

Access to private areas. Some sections of this website are reserved for people we have invited. Access is managed through Cloudflare Access, which processes the invited person's email address and the one-time login codes sent to it. The legal basis is the performance of the relationship under which the person was invited and our legitimate interest in controlling access.

No cookies. This website does not use cookies or tracking technologies. If you choose a language, that choice is stored only in your own browser (local storage) and is never sent to us.

Who has access to the data

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. The following providers process data on our behalf, under data processing agreements: Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) for hosting, content delivery, security and access control to private areas, and Microsoft Corporation (United States) for our email service (Microsoft 365). Both providers may process data in the United States. For data of people in the European Union, these transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise these rights, write to hola@deductai.com; we may ask you to confirm your identity. If you are in the European Union and consider that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority, in Spain the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es). We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not profile visitors.

Minors

This website is addressed to businesses and professionals and is not intended for people under 18. We do not knowingly process data of minors.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the website or in the law. The date at the top indicates the current version.
